We Have a Problem

God is the source of everything.  The only way anyone can experience true joy is through a relationship with Him.  The only way to experience inner peace, true wisdom and discernment is by the Holy Spirit, and the only way to get to heaven is through Jesus Christ.

“but your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear” Isaiah 59:2

Scripture also teaches that none of our goodness, or efforts, or morality, or religious activity can allow God to accept us. None of these things will make us righteous in the eyes of God. These things won’t get anyone into heaven either. Whether a person is moral, religious, or immoral and non-religious, all have the same problem. They all fall short of God’s perfect righteousness.  The Apostle Paul declares that both Jews and Greeks are under sin, that “there is no one righteous, not even one”Romans 3:9-10.

God is not only perfect holiness.  There is no way for us to gain this holy character through our own works of righteousness but He is also perfect love and full of grace and mercy.
